We've been at Fort Bragg for 8 months now. 8 MONTHS! It really doesn't seem that long :) 8 months that our family has missed out on the in's and out's of the days and weeks... thus the reason I am venturing into this world of blogging. In hopes that Nana, Aunt Jack and the rest can catch a glimpse of our day to day lives (more so than facebook) and feel like they are a part of it all. Who knows... in a couple of weeks I will probably give up on this thing and it will be a thought of the past but we will see.
So what's new? My house is a mess, and I'm ready for the weekend... oh wait, not new, that's typical. We just had two visits back to back from Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Jacob, and then Grandmommy. It was nice to see them all. L&J got to see my oh so yucky ingrown toenail, and even commenced to helping me get a little inebriated one night so that David could chop it out. OUCH! (It's almost completely gone now! Thank God!)
Melissa got to spend a lot of time with David taking care of him after he had a minor surgical procedure, (no more babies for us!) And got to help Gracie learn to ride her bike without training wheels. She is all over the neighbor on that bike now! Loving every minute of it! Anastyn is ready to take her's off now too, or atleast wants to be ready!
We are gearing up for Easter, who knows what that Bunny will bring. Off to buy things to make baskets this weekend for their classes and dresses for church. David's birthday is also that weekend so I have to figure something out for him as well... how is it they all get presents in one weekend?! Poor David, has to share his bday this year. (Whaaa..)
